3. DYNAFABS Services Overview

DYNAFABS provides a multi-faceted platform offering the following core services:

3.1 Online Shop

DYNAFABS operates an online shop where Users can purchase pre-designed 3D printed products. All products are subject to availability and these Terms. Product descriptions, pricing, and images are provided for informational purposes and may be subject to change. Purchases made through the online shop are direct contracts between the User and DYNAFABS.

3.2 Custom 3D Printing Quoting & Manufacturing

DYNAFABS provides a service for Clients to request quotes for custom 3D printing of their own designs. Quotes are estimates based on provided specifications. Upon acceptance of a quote and payment, DYNAFABS will arrange for the manufacture of the custom 3D printed product according to the agreed specifications. This constitutes a direct service contract between the Client and DYNAFABS. DYNAFABS remains solely responsible to the Client for the quality and delivery of all orders, regardless of whether the work is fulfilled in-house or through a Subcontractor.

Quick Quote and Slice & Price analyses produce Slice Artefacts. The access and deletion rules for those artefacts are set out in Section 8.3. A completed slice is not permanent file storage, backup storage, or a right to indefinite re-download.

3.3 Subcontract Printing Network

To fulfil Client orders efficiently, DYNAFABS operates a network of approved Subcontract Printers. DYNAFABS acts as the sole intermediary and contractual party between the Client and any Subcontractor. Clients do not select, contact, or enter into any agreement with Subcontractors directly. DYNAFABS assigns work to Subcontractors at its sole discretion, based on capacity, capability, and the fees set out in DYNAFABS's Subcontractor Fee Schedule.

Clients should note:

4. User Accounts

If you create an account on the DYNAFABS website, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify DYNAFABS immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

5. Prohibited Content and Use

DYNAFABS is committed to operating within all applicable national and international laws and regulations. You agree not to upload, submit, or request the manufacture of any content or items that are illegal, dangerous, or infringe upon the rights of others. Specifically, the following are strictly prohibited:

5.1 Illegal and Dangerous Items

Weapons and Firearms: Any item designed to discharge a projectile, or any component part of such an item, including receivers, frames, barrels, silencers/suppressors, and magazines. This prohibition extends to designs that could be readily converted into functional firearms. Explosives and Detonating Devices, Offensive Weapons (under UK Offensive Weapons Act 2019), and Realistic Replicas are also prohibited.

DYNAFABS reserves the absolute right to refuse any order or service request related to such items, and may report any suspicious activity to the relevant authorities, including the UK Home Office.

5.2 Restricted and Dual-Use Items

Items subject to export controls or other restrictions due to their potential dual-use (civilian and military) applications, including those on the UK Strategic Export Control List, EU Dual-Use Regulation, and US Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and ITAR.

Users must certify that any uploaded designs or requested items do not fall under these categories without possessing the necessary licences or authorisations. DYNAFABS may require users to provide documentation of such licences or certifications.

5.3 Intellectual Property Infringement

Content that infringes upon any intellectual property rights, including copyrights, patents, trademarks, or trade secrets of any third party.

5.4 Other Prohibited Content

Obscene, defamatory, hateful, or discriminatory content.

Content that promotes violence, illegal activities, or harm to individuals or groups.

Content that violates any applicable laws or regulations in the United Kingdom, the European Union, the United States, or any other relevant jurisdiction.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

6.1 User Content Ownership

You retain all intellectual property rights in the 3D models, designs, and files you upload to our Services ("User Content"). DYNAFABS does not claim ownership of your User Content.

6.2 License to Manufacture

By submitting User Content, you grant DYNAFABS a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, and modify your User Content solely to provide the requested quote, slicing, manufacturing, support, and fulfilment services. This includes sharing the content with approved Subcontractors under strict confidentiality obligations, only where necessary to complete an order. DYNAFABS will not retain uploaded models or Slice Artefacts as permanent storage: the file-retention period is set out in Section 8.3 and the Privacy Policy.

6.3 Marketing and Publicity

Unless you explicitly opt-out in writing, you grant DYNAFABS a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, and sublicensable licence to use images, videos, or 3D renders of the physical parts manufactured from your User Content for marketing, promotional, and publicity purposes. This includes display on our website, social media channels, portfolio, and marketing materials. We agree not to disclose any sensitive technical specifications or proprietary CAD data in these promotional materials without your additional express consent. If you wish to keep your project confidential and exempt from marketing use, please contact us at legal@dynafabs.uk prior to placing your order.

6.4 Third-Party IP

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your User Content does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party. DYNAFABS will not be liable for any infringement arising from User Content. You agree to indemnify DYNAFABS against any claims related to third-party IP infringement caused by your User Content.

7. Quotes, Pricing, and Payments

7.1 Quotes and Estimates

All quotes provided through DYNAFABS are estimates based on the specifications provided. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. DYNAFABS reserves the right to adjust pricing based on material costs, market conditions, or changes to project specifications. Final pricing will be confirmed before production begins.

7.2 Payment Terms

Payment must be received before production commences. DYNAFABS accepts payment via Stripe, including credit cards and other payment methods. All prices are in British Pounds (GBP) unless otherwise specified. For quotes exceeding £5,000, a 50% deposit is required to secure the order, with the remaining balance due before production commences.

7.3 Subcontract Fee Structure

Where DYNAFABS assigns a Client order to a Subcontractor, the fees paid to that Subcontractor are determined solely by DYNAFABS's internal Subcontractor Fee Schedule. The Client pays DYNAFABS directly at the quoted price; DYNAFABS then compensates the Subcontractor at the applicable subcontract rate. The Client has no visibility of, or liability for, the fees paid to any Subcontractor. DYNAFABS retains the difference between the Client price and the subcontract fee as its service margin. Subcontract fees are not disclosed to Clients and are subject to change by DYNAFABS at any time without notice to Clients.

7.4 Pricing Adjustments

DYNAFABS reserves the right to adjust pricing for its online shop products and custom manufacturing services at any time. For custom quotes, any changes to specifications after a quote has been accepted may result in a revised price.

7.5 Support Removal

The Support Removal service is available only where the completed slice reports actual support material above zero grams for the relevant build plate. An overhang warning, support recommendation, or zero-gram support result alone does not create a Support Removal service or charge.

For every Quick Quote or Slice & Price resin build plate, DYNAFABS applies a mandatory Resin Processing Fee of £4 per build plate in each ordered unit. This covers the PPE, handling, cleaning, and resin-processing controls required for SLA/MSLA manufacturing. It applies even where a plate contains one model, is separate from FDM Support Removal, does not depend on estimated resin support material, and cannot be deselected. The fee is displayed before payment.

Support Removal is an opt-in processing fee of £4 per ordered item. If you order more than one of the same supported model, the fee multiplies by quantity (for example, 10 items = £40). The fee is shown as a checkbox immediately above Accept Quote and is off by default.

Each customer account receives one complimentary Support Removal order in a rolling 72-hour period where they select removal for a supported print. The allowance is consumed only by a confirmed paid order; abandoned quotes do not use it. If the allowance has already been used, a later supported order in the same rolling 72-hour period is charged at the fixed £4-per-item rate.

You may leave the checkbox unchecked to keep supports attached. In that case, DYNAFABS will not charge the Support Removal service, and that choice does not consume the complimentary allowance. When selected, Support Removal covers removal of generated supports in full only. It does not include sanding, smoothing, surface finishing, filling, paint preparation, painting, colour matching, polishing, assembly, or any other post-processing unless DYNAFABS expressly prices and agrees that work separately in writing.

DYNAFABS may aggregate matching source files, quantities, and related order lines when calculating this service. We may review an order where duplicate or split entries appear intended to circumvent the displayed pricing. This does not affect your statutory rights.

7.6 Private Supply Agreements and Supplier Pricing

Private Supply Agreements are an administrator-approved repeat-order service for a specific customer account. Supplier pricing, model access, agreed quantity tiers, custom quantities, and any related Supplier Portal access are private to the approved account and are not public shop listings or offers to other users.

To request Supplier Pricing, contact support@dynafabs.uk. DYNAFABS may review the customer account, model, intended specification, materials, colours, quantity tiers, and fulfilment requirements before enabling Supplier Account access or publishing an agreed model. DYNAFABS may decline, pause, amend, or withdraw a proposed agreement before acceptance or payment where a model cannot be manufactured safely, lawfully, or to the stated specification.

Supplier-uploaded STL, 3MF, and reference G-code files are subject to review. Supplier-provided G-code is not accepted as trusted machine instruction merely because it has been uploaded. DYNAFABS may require validation, re-slicing, or revised settings before manufacture. A paid Supply Agreement order remains subject to the existing administrator approval and manual-start safeguards; no customer upload, payment, or approval automatically starts a printer.

Private Supply Agreement quantity tiers are fixed, all-inclusive agreed prices for the approved customer and model. Any support-removal work agreed by an administrator for that model is included within the agreed tier price. The automatic Support Removal surcharge, rolling complimentary allowance, and Resin Processing Fee described in Section 7.5 apply to Quick Quote and Slice & Price physical orders only, not to a Private Supply Agreement unless DYNAFABS provides a separate written variation before payment.

8. Dyna Credits

8.1 What Are Dyna Credits?

Dyna Credits are a virtual token system operated by DYNAFABS that allows registered users to run the precision slicer quoting service and to download slice files from the DYNAFABS platform. A successful Quick Quote or Slice & Price analysis, which analyses an uploaded 3D model and returns a price based on filament weight, print time, and the user's chosen settings, uses one Dyna Credit. Downloading the generated files is a separate use of Dyna Credits, as set out in Section 8.3.

Dyna Credits have no monetary value, are not a form of currency, and cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to any third party.

8.2 Earning and Purchasing Dyna Credits

Dyna Credits may be obtained in the following ways:

8.3 Using Dyna Credits

Dyna Credits are consumed separately for a quote run and for a slice-file download.

Quote or slice analysis. One credit is deducted per successful Quick Quote or Slice & Price run. If the slicer service fails due to a technical error on DYNAFABS's part, that credit is refunded. Credits are non-refundable once a quote has been successfully generated, regardless of whether the user proceeds to place an order.

Slice file downloads. Downloading generated G-code, or downloading the Bambu-ready 3MF file, is charged separately from the quote credit. The current rate is two Dyna Credits per build plate included in that download. A G-code download and a 3MF download are separate requests and are charged separately. A single request that downloads both files together is one charge at the same per-plate rate, not two. Downloading the same result again is a new charge. If a download fails because of a technical error on DYNAFABS's part and the file is not delivered, the credits charged for that download are refunded.

Each successful slice grants a non-transferable, limited 30-day licence to access that completed Slice Result. During that period DYNAFABS holds the relevant uploaded model and Slice Artefacts for that result, including generated G-code and Bambu-ready files where produced. That holding period is part of the quote. Downloading those files uses the separate download charge above. We retain those files for 30 days from successful slice completion and then permanently delete them. You should download any result you need within that period. After expiry, access cannot be restored; to process the model again, you must upload it again and use the applicable Dyna Credits for a new slice. This rule applies equally to Quick Quote and Slice & Price.

Dyna Credits are tied to the individual user account and may not be transferred, gifted, sold, or shared with any other user or third party.

8.4 Expiry

Your Dyna Credit balance does not expire simply because time passes. The 30-day limit applies to the files and results created when a credit is used, not to unused credits held in your account. We may suspend, remove, or adjust credits only where these Terms permit it, including for fraud, abuse, error correction, legal requirements, or a discontinued programme under Section 8.7.

8.5 Misuse of Dyna Credits

The following activities constitute misuse of the Dyna Credits system and are strictly prohibited:

8.6 Consequences of Misuse

Where DYNAFABS has reasonable grounds to believe that a user has misused the Dyna Credits system, DYNAFABS reserves the right to take any or all of the following actions without prior notice:

1. Immediate suspension or permanent termination of the user's account and all associated accounts. 2. Forfeiture of all Dyna Credits held in the affected account(s), with no entitlement to compensation or refund. 3. Recovery of losses: Where misuse has caused a quantifiable financial loss to DYNAFABS (for example, through fraudulent referral bonuses or exploitation of system errors), DYNAFABS reserves the right to pursue recovery of those losses through civil proceedings. 4. Reporting to authorities: In cases involving fraud, identity theft, or other criminal conduct, DYNAFABS will report the matter to the relevant law enforcement authorities and cooperate fully with any investigation. 5. IP and device blocking: DYNAFABS may block IP addresses, devices, or browser fingerprints associated with abusive activity.

Users who believe their account has been incorrectly flagged for misuse may appeal by contacting legal@dynafabs.uk within 14 days of receiving notice of suspension.

8.7 Changes to the Dyna Credits Programme

DYNAFABS reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Dyna Credits programme at any time. In the event of discontinuation, DYNAFABS will provide at least 30 days' notice and will honour any unused credits during that notice period for the purpose of generating quotes. No cash equivalent will be offered.

9. Order Acceptance, Cancellation, and Refunds

9.1 Order Acceptance

DYNAFABS reserves the right to accept or reject any order at its sole discretion. Orders may be refused if they violate these Terms, are technically unfeasible, or for any other reason deemed appropriate by DYNAFABS.

9.2 Cancellation Rights and Custom-Made Goods

Custom-Made Goods Exception: Where the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 apply, the statutory cancellation provisions do not apply to goods made to a consumer's specifications or clearly personalised. This may apply to a DYNAFABS print produced to your uploaded design or bespoke selected specifications. It does not remove any statutory rights you may have if goods are faulty, not as described, or do not meet applicable consumer-law standards.

Standard Shop Goods: If a shop item is not made to your specifications or clearly personalised, any applicable statutory cancellation rights are unaffected. Instructions for exercising any applicable cancellation right will be provided with the order information.

Defects and Quality Issues: Please contact us promptly if your item is faulty, damaged, not as described, or does not meet the agreed specifications. We may ask for photographs or other reasonable information to investigate. Any remedy will be provided in line with your applicable legal rights; these Terms do not limit those rights.

Cancellation Requests: For bespoke manufacture, you may request cancellation before production begins. Once production has begun, cancellation may not be possible for goods made to your specifications. Where a cancellation charge is applicable, we will explain it before taking payment or otherwise as required by law.

9.3 Cancellation Policy

You may contact us to request cancellation at any time before production begins. We will confirm whether the request can be accepted, taking account of the order status and your statutory rights. This section does not restrict any cancellation or remedy right that applies under consumer law.

9.4 Refunds

Refunds are assessed in accordance with Sections 9.2 and 9.3 and your applicable legal rights. Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method without undue delay.

10. Delivery, Shipping, and Risk

Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. DYNAFABS will make reasonable efforts to meet quoted delivery dates, but delays may occur due to factors beyond our control, including delays by Subcontractors. Shipping costs are calculated based on weight, destination, and selected shipping method. Risk of loss or damage to products passes to the customer upon delivery. DYNAFABS recommends purchasing shipping insurance for high-value orders. Claims for damaged or lost shipments must be made within 14 days of delivery.

11. Warranties and Liability

11.1 Product Warranty

DYNAFABS warrants that all products will be manufactured in accordance with the specifications provided and will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 30 days from delivery. This warranty applies regardless of whether the work was carried out in-house or by a Subcontractor, and does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, or unauthorised modification.

11.2 Disclaimer of Warranties

The materials on the DYNAFABS website are provided on an 'as is' basis. DYNAFABS makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights. Further, DYNAFABS does not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, likely results, or reliability of the use of the materials on its website or otherwise relating to such materials or on any sites linked to this site.

11.3 Limitation of Liability

In no event shall DYNAFABS or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on the DYNAFABS website, even if DYNAFABS or an authorised representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage. DYNAFABS's total liability for any claim arising out of or related to this agreement shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the product or service in question. DYNAFABS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

11.4 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DYNAFABS and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or costs (including legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the website, your violation of these Terms and Conditions, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

12. Subcontract Printing Terms

DYNAFABS operates a network of approved Subcontract Printers to assist in fulfilling Client orders. The following terms govern the relationship between DYNAFABS and its Subcontractors. Clients are not party to these arrangements and have no direct rights or obligations in respect of Subcontractors.

12.1 Subcontractor Approval and Vetting

Individuals or entities wishing to become Subcontractors in the DYNAFABS network must apply and undergo a comprehensive vetting process. This process may include, but is not limited to:

DYNAFABS reserves the right to approve or reject any Subcontractor application at its sole discretion. Approved Subcontractors are responsible for keeping their profile information, including equipment and material availability, accurate and up-to-date.

12.2 Subcontract Scope of Work

DYNAFABS will assign work to Subcontractors at its sole discretion. Subcontractors do not bid for, negotiate, or select Client projects. Work is offered to Subcontractors by DYNAFABS based on capacity, capability, and the applicable subcontract fee rate. Subcontractors must accept or decline work within the timeframe specified by DYNAFABS. Any modifications to the agreed scope of work must be documented and agreed upon between DYNAFABS and the Subcontractor only.

12.3 Payment to Subcontractors

Subcontractors will be paid for completed work at the rates set out in DYNAFABS's Subcontractor Fee Schedule, which may be updated by DYNAFABS from time to time. Payment will be processed by DYNAFABS following confirmation that the completed work meets the required quality standards. DYNAFABS will process payments to Subcontractors within 7–14 days of quality approval. A minimum payment threshold of £100 may apply before funds are disbursed. Subcontractors are solely responsible for all applicable taxes, National Insurance contributions, and any other statutory deductions related to their earnings. DYNAFABS will not be responsible for withholding or paying any such amounts on behalf of Subcontractors.

12.4 Subcontractor Status

Subcontractors operating within the DYNAFABS network are independent contractors, not employees, partners, agents, or joint ventures of DYNAFABS. Subcontractors are responsible for their own equipment, insurance (including public liability and professional indemnity insurance), and business expenses. Nothing in these Terms is intended to create an employment relationship between DYNAFABS and any Subcontractor.

12.5 Subcontractor Responsibilities

Subcontractors agree to:

12.6 Client Relationship with Subcontractors

Clients acknowledge and agree that:

12.7 Account Suspension and Review

DYNAFABS reserves the right to pause or suspend a Subcontractor's access to the network at its sole discretion, particularly in cases of suspected breach of these Terms, poor performance, quality failures, or legal and regulatory concerns. Suspension may result in the cessation of new work assignments and suspension of pending payments. DYNAFABS will provide the Subcontractor with a reason for suspension and a reasonable opportunity to address the issues raised. This process may also apply to Client accounts in cases of non-payment, abuse, or violation of these Terms.

13. Data Protection and Privacy

DYNAFABS is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR. Your personal information will be processed fairly and lawfully for the purposes of fulfilling your orders, managing Subcontract arrangements, and communicating with you about our services. We share personal data only where necessary to provide the service, where required by law, or where another lawful basis applies. For example, a print file may be shared with an approved Subcontractor under confidentiality obligations where necessary to fulfil an order. You can exercise applicable data-protection rights by contacting us at support@dynafabs.uk. For full details, including recipients, transfers, and retention, please read our Privacy Policy.

Data Kept: We collect and store data necessary to provide the Services, including account information, order history, payment references, and Subcontractor profile information. Order and payment records are retained separately from uploaded models and Slice Artefacts for the period stated in the Privacy Policy to meet accounting, tax, legal, and operational requirements.

Data Not Kept: We do not store payment card details directly on our systems; Stripe processes card details. Uploaded 3D models and Slice Artefacts are not retained as permanent customer storage. They are deleted 30 days after successful slice completion, as described in Section 8.3, while the associated order and payment records remain separately retained.

14. Trade and Industry Standards

DYNAFABS is committed to upholding high standards in the 3D printing industry. We adhere to relevant industry best practices, quality control procedures, and safety guidelines. This includes:

Material Quality: Utilising high-quality, traceable materials suitable for the intended application.

Equipment Maintenance: Ensuring all 3D printing equipment — whether operated by DYNAFABS directly or by approved Subcontractors — is regularly maintained, calibrated, and operated by trained personnel.

Manufacturing Processes: Implementing robust manufacturing processes to ensure consistency, accuracy, and durability of printed parts.

Health and Safety: Complying with all applicable health and safety regulations in the United Kingdom, particularly those related to manufacturing environments and the handling of materials.

Environmental Standards: Striving to minimise waste and adhere to environmental best practices in our operations.

All Subcontractors are required to meet these same high standards and comply with all relevant trade and industry regulations as a condition of their engagement with DYNAFABS.

15. Modifications to Terms

DYNAFABS reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the revised Terms on our website. Your continued use of the Services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We recommend reviewing these terms regularly for updates.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in England and Wales. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or related to these terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and DYNAFABS regarding your use of the website and services, and supersede all prior and contemporaneous agreements, understandings, and negotiations, whether written or oral.
